In this contemplative time, the Art Week ‘Celestial Inspiration’ offers space to find peace and at the same time blossom creatively.

Under the sensitive guidance of freelance artists Joanna Klakla and Ursula Erchinger, you will experience a week full of experiments and artistic experiences. Every day, the light-filled studio opens its doors for three hours – a protected space where you can work creatively at your own pace. You will immerse yourself in the world of experimental printing, try out the monotype technique and discover new ways of expressing yourself through painting and drawing.

This Art Week focuses on playfully experimenting with different techniques and materials. Without pressure and far away from everyday life, you can let your imagination run wild. The creative atmosphere allows you to realise your own art projects while also experiencing inner reflection. Every exercise, every brushstroke and every print not only advances your artistic skills, but also promotes your personal development. During these seven days, an almost magical atmosphere emerges: creative development and inner renewal go hand in hand – a journey to the stars that enriches both your art and your spirit.

Even beyond Art Week, the Buchinger Wilhelmi Clinic offers ideal conditions for artistic creation.
The in-house studio is generously equipped with materials for painting, drawing, modelling and printmaking.
In an inspiring environment, patients and guests can pursue their creativity here all year round. Like therapeutic fasting, artistic work promotes the regeneration of body and mind – the senses are sharpened and the mind opens up to new ideas. This unique combination of art and healing creates an atmosphere in which inspiration and well-being intertwine.

Experienced women artists as your guides

The Art Week is led by two experienced instructors who bring both expertise and heartfelt dedication. Joanna Klakla, who studied art and art education at the Institute of Art at the Pedagogical University of Kraków, now lives and works as a freelance artist and lecturer on Lake Constance. Her specialties are painting, woodcut, and collage – under her guidance, participants can expand their creative skills and learn new techniques. The second course leader, Ursula Erchinger, is also a freelance artist with her own studio in Überlingen. She has an academic background in art and education and focuses artistically on painting and drawing.
