Just like every year, we will be celebrating Christmas in an intimate, family-like atmosphere, with no obligations, urgency or excesses, but with joy and great attention to detail.
At Buchinger Wilhelmi, we turn our attention to the values and ideals that connect people. They enrich and fulfil us both when we encounter them and when others encounter them. Relaxation enables fasting and lets us stop and think about the important things: valuable interactions with our fellow human beings and not least with ourselves.

On the four Sundays of Advent, we invite you to browse through the clinic boutique for presents in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy a glass of Buchinger Wilhelmi punch.

Experience the joy of classical music in a festive atmosphere. Every Sunday during Advent and on 29 December, we invite you to an evening concert with performances of selected pieces of classical music. Enjoy a reflective few hours packed with musical highlights that are guaranteed to give you a Christmas feeling.
02. – 07.12.24 | Science Week “Therapeutic Fasting and the Microbiome”
At this enlightening event, our scientific team presents the latest findings on therapeutic fasting and the microbiome. Learn more about the fascinating world of the trillions of microorganisms that live in and on our bodies, and how they influence our health.
05. & 19.12.24 | Visit to the Christmas market in Constance
The Christmas market along the lakeshore in Constance is one of the largest and most attractive in the Lake Constance region and is ranked among the top ten Germany-wide by GEO magazine. Look forward to thousands of lights, a Christmas boat with a 360° panorama bar, some 150 booths, handicrafts and much more.
09. – 14.12.24 | Yoga Transformation Retreat
Wrap up the year with the power of yoga, let go of the past and readjust. At this intensive retreat, you can enjoy a programme of meditation techniques and breathing exercises, mantra chanting and yoga sessions that can be tailored your own level of experience. Fasting is not mandatory, but can support you in your inner transformation.

Situated at the water’s edge against the backdrop of the snow-covered peaks, Lindau’s Christmas market is one of the most beautiful in the region. Enjoy the unique atmosphere in a magical setting.
21.12.24 | Sound journey – A very special sound experience
A sound journey is an ideal way to experience the healing effects of sounds and music. Instruments with rich overtones, such as singing bowls, gongs and ocean drums transport you to a meditative world in which your body and soul can resonate.

21. – 28.12.24 | Art Weeks in Winter: Celestial Inspiration
Immerse yourself in the creative world of Art Weeks, accompanied by artists Joanna Klakla and Ursula Erchinger. At this workshop, you get to experiment with different techniques and materials and develop your individual artistic expression. The atelier is open three hours a day for you to be creative.
24.12.24 | Christmas Eve celebrations
Celebrate Christmas Eve at the clinic with a festive Christmas menu for guests who are eating, and punch for those who are fasting. We will sing Christmas carols together under the festively decorated tree, give presents and listen to a talk by Leonard Wilhelmi. The musical accompaniment on this evening is provided by Aenas Borner on the piano and singer Christine Saci.
26.12.24 | Torch-lit hike to Birnau Basilica
In the early evening of 26 December, we invite you on a two-hour torch-lit hike to Birnau Basilica, where a surprise will be waiting for you!
30.12.24 – 04.01.25 | “My 2025” writing workshop
Make your 2025 a creative year! Under the supervision of Dr. Dorothée Gommen-Hingst, you are invited to this biographical writing course, where you can formulate your dreams, visions and wishes for the coming year. Get some inspiration and consider how you want to shape your life.
31.12.24 | New Year’s Eve concert and welcoming the new year
Ring in the new year at a celebratory New Year’s Eve concert with harpist Ekaterina Afanasieva. Of course, we will also show the classic film “Dinner for One” to end the year on a humorous note.
