A late, heavy dinner at 11 p.m. may require a longer fasting period (14\u201316 hours) to restore genuine hunger and digestive readiness around lunch time. This is a crucial omission. Thus, for individuals with obesity &#8211; often characterized by disrupted eating patterns and diets rich in refined sugars and cheap unhealthy fats\u2014fasting every day some hours during night time alone is not enough. In that case it was not fasting but calorie, sugar and protein reduced meals. This finding supports what we observe clinically: structured fasting can trigger durable metabolic adaptations, not just temporary weight loss.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;64px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\n<h3>\u201cFasting Mimetics\u201d: Science or Shortcut?<\/h3>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-026-38495-7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study<\/a> caught our attention and raised some eyebrows.
