El ayuno peri\u00f3dico de 8,5 d\u00edas como promedio reduce el \u00edndice de h\u00edgado graso (FLI o Fatty Liver Index), un factor de riesgo para enfermedades hep\u00e1ticas no alcoh\u00f3licas. Un h\u00edgado graso favorece la aparici\u00f3n de diabetes tipo 2 como la sobrealimentaci\u00f3n y el sedentarismo. En el estudio publicado en octubre en la revista \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2072-6643\/11\/11\/2601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nutrients<\/a>\u201d con el t\u00edtulo \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2072-6643\/11\/11\/2601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Effects of Periodic Fasting on Fatty Liver Index \u2013 A Prospective Observational Study<\/a>\u201d, 697 personas ayunaron en la cl\u00ednica <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buchinger-wilhelmi.com\/es\/buchinger-wilhelmi-lago-de-constanza\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buchinger Wilhelmi del Lago de Constanza<\/a>. Entre los participantes en el estudio hab\u00eda 38 diab\u00e9ticos tipo 2. Casi la mitad de los pacientes asignados a la categor\u00eda de riesgo m\u00e1s alta (FLI \u2265 60) pasaron a una categor\u00eda de menor riesgo.<\/li>\n<li>En todos los paciente se document\u00f3 adem\u00e1s una notable p\u00e9rdida de peso de 4,37 \u00b1 2,42 kg y una disminuci\u00f3n del per\u00edmetro abdominal de 5,39 \u00b1 3,27 cm. Los valores de glucosa en sangre y HbA1c disminuyeron tambi\u00e9n, al igual que las enzimas hep\u00e1ticas y los l\u00edpidos en sangre.<\/li>\n<li>El ayuno de cierta duraci\u00f3n, una p\u00e9rdida de peso significativa y una disminuci\u00f3n importante del per\u00edmetro abdominal impulsaron la mejor\u00eda del FLI. La ayunoterapia result\u00f3 beneficiosa sobre todo para los varones y las personas que al comienzo presentaban valores elevados de FLI-, GOT- (una enzima hep\u00e1tica importante) y colesterol.<\/li>\n<li>Un modelo matem\u00e1tico demostr\u00f3 que cada d\u00eda adicional de ayuno aumenta un 40 % la posibilidad de transformar un h\u00edgado graso manifiesto en una categor\u00eda de riesgo inferior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El ayuno peri\u00f3dico seg\u00fan el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buchinger-wilhelmi.com\/es\/buchinger-wilhelmi-programm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Programa Buchinger Wilhelmi<\/a> se llev\u00f3 a cabo en un entorno que garantiza la asistencia m\u00e9dica, la tranquilidad y la atenci\u00f3n y en el marco del estudio se toler\u00f3 bien. El ayuno consiste en la ingesta diaria de una media de 250 kcal en forma de zumos de fruta y caldos ecol\u00f3gicos. Las sensaciones de hambre fueron escasas y los resultados demuestran claramente que el ayuno peri\u00f3dico reduce la grasa en el h\u00edgado en personas tanto diab\u00e9ticas como no diab\u00e9ticas, ejerciendo con ello un efecto preventivo.
