Entre ellos, 377 personas tomaron medicamentos antihipertensivos, cuya administraci\u00f3n pudo ser detenida en la mayor\u00eda de los casos, o al menos reducida. Aun as\u00ed, la tensi\u00f3n arterial se mantuvo dentro del rango establecido como normal y en algunos casos incluso reducirla.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dado que los medicamentos antihipertensivos suelen tener efectos secundarios considerables, el ayuno a largo plazo podr\u00eda utilizarse como terapia complementaria para la hipertensi\u00f3n arterial<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>En el grupo de las 920 personas con tensi\u00f3n arterial normal, esta se redujo levemente dentro del rango normal, y los valores de tensi\u00f3n arterial baja mostraron una tendencia a aumentar. Entre los factores de riesgo se encuentran la obesidad, la malnutrici\u00f3n, la falta de ejercicio, el estr\u00e9s, el exceso de sal, el consumo de az\u00facar y alcohol y el tabaquismo. Seg\u00fan las sociedades profesionales europeas, el valor l\u00edmite por encima del cual se habla de hipertensi\u00f3n es de 140\/90 mmHg.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>El estudio demuestra que el ayuno prolongado, seg\u00fan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buchinger-wilhelmi.com\/es\/buchinger-wilhelmi-programm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">el programa de Buchinger Wilhelmi<\/a>, tiene un efecto beneficioso sobre la tensi\u00f3n arterial. Los valores elevados de la tensi\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea disminuyeron, tanto en los pacientes que se encontraron bajo terapia medical como en los que no estuvieron medicalizados. Cuanto m\u00e1s tiempo duraba el ayuno, m\u00e1s impactante fue el efecto. Los efectos positivos del ayuno sobre la tensi\u00f3n arterial pueden explicarse por la reducci\u00f3n de peso, la disminuci\u00f3n de la circunferencia abdominal y la interrupci\u00f3n de la ingesta de sal, alcohol y carbohidratos y, si se daba el caso, del tabaco. El ayuno desencadena mecanismos que act\u00faan de manera similar a los medicamentos antihipertensivos: promueve la excreci\u00f3n de sodio, activa el sistema nervioso parasimp\u00e1tico y provoca la vasodilataci\u00f3n.
