The Buchinger Wilhelmi family is delighted to announce the opening of a new flagship property in the hills of the Côte d’Azur, bringing over 100 years of medical expertise in Buchinger fasting, cutting edge research and longevity medicine to the south of France.
After many years of ongoing collaborations with French universities and research institutions, the location is a natural fit for this milestone project, complementing our existing residential clinics in Lake Constance, Germany and Marbella, Spain.
A sanctuary for health, inspiration and sustainable design
At this 95-room centre, guests will benefit from a fasting method underpinned by a unique combination of scientific research, the warmth of family care and a sense of community.
Guests can also expect an emphasis on creative inspiration and sustainability, with an expert team bringing the Buchinger Method to life through architecture. Jean Paul Gomis from Nice will lead the design of the building, while Prof Matteo Thun from Milan will shape the interiors, creating spaces that embody a combination of health, sustainability, and longevity.
The project has been awarded the “Gold Standard” of the BDM – Bâtiment Durable Méditerranéen sustainability certificate by an expert jury. This prestigious recognition highlights the resort as a first of its kind pioneer of sustainable construction in the region.
Blending heritage with scientific innovation and exceptional hospitality
A series of medically supervised fasting programmes will feature comprehensive medical and nutritional consultations and diagnostics, complimentary therapies and technologies, and a cultural programme of activites.
