Dr. Verena Buchinger
Dr. Verena Buchinger is following in the medical footsteps of Dr. Otto Buchinger and taking the family business founded in 1920 into the modern era. After studying medicine at university and working internationally in general medicine, paediatric oncology and emergency medicine, she has now returned to her family roots and integrative medicine. She completed her specialist training at Aachen University Hospital. With additional qualifications in naturopathy, mind-body medicine, ortho molecular medicine and as a hormone coach, she uniquely embodies the tradition and modern approaches of longevity medicine. She has been a board member of the ÄGHE (Medical Association for Fasting & Nutrition) since 2025.
Dr. Buchinger moved to Überlingen with her husband and three children at the end of 2024 to take over as head physician at the clinic on Lake Constance. Together with the Buchinger Research Lab, Dr. Buchinger will continue to develop the clinic’s medical concept and research complex disease patterns.
As the focus at Buchinger has always been on a holistic perspective, she attaches great importance to the human dimension: “In a highly complex world, we trust in proven methods: humaneness, care and sustainability.”
