Recipe: Apple Crumble

Apple (or fruit) crumble is one of our guests’ favourite healthy deserts! It is delicious and can be adapted to the season or your personal taste. Pears, apricots or mixed berries are good alternatives, for example.

Recipe: Ingredients for 4 portions (1 oven dish)

For the crumble:
200 g wholemeal flour,
75 g ground hazelnuts,
75 g ground almonds,
½ tsp cinnamon,
40 ml cold-pressed almond oil,
4 tbsp orange juice,
50 g whole cane sugar,
750 g apples (or other fruit).

For the vanilla sauce:
500 ml milk (alternatively soy or rice milk),
40 g pumpkin (Hokkaido), grated,
1 tsp wholemeal rice flour,
½ tbsp honey or syrup.
