Buchinger Wilhelmi – first clinic worldwide with Demeter-certified cuisine

It goes without saying that we use locally grown produce of the highest quality. That’s why for the last 20 years and more, we have prepared only 100% certified organic food. We are proud to announce that we are now the first clinic worldwide to be awarded Demeter certification for our cuisine.

Demeter stands for innovation in harmony with nature, for the highest level of quality and craftsmanship. This certification shows that we take responsibility for our cooking and for our guests, and meet the challenges of combining creative, handcrafted and enjoyable cuisine with an approach that is as holistic and sustainable as possible. Demeter is much more than “just organic”, it means working closely with “our” producers and strengthening the regional value chain.

To enable you to enjoy healthy, delicious cooking at home, too, we have now published our new cookbook “A pleasure a day”.

Hubert Hohler, head chef at Buchinger Wilhelmi in Überlingen since 1995, and Fernando Sánchez, head chef at our clinic in Marbella since 2011, have written this book to introduce you to the art of healthy cooking. As well as many delicious recipes from both clinics, you will also find Buchinger Wilhelmi nutritional recommendations with our general guidelines for a healthy, balanced diet.
